On November 27, 2024, the first rock was laid for the COL2 project at the Oscar Lambret Center site.

Projet en extension et restructuration garantissant l'absence de réduction d'activité pour le centre durant les travaux, porté par les équipes spécialisées d'Artelia et AFA+SANAE architecture
C’est parti pour le chantier de construction du nouveau bâtiment à usages mixtes sur le site de l’EHPAD Saint-Dominique d’Arcachon.
Nous avons eu le plaisir d’assister à la pose de la première pierre du bâtiment ce lundi 2 décembre en compagnie de Monsieur Foulon, Maire d’Arcachon, Jean-Yves Boyer, président de l’Association Saint-Dominique et Mickaël Chaleuil, directeur de l’EHPAD Saint-Dominique, ainsi que des équipes partenaires du projet.
Ce bâtiment, implanté au sein d’un parc à la qualité exceptionnelle sur la commune d’Arcachon permettra l’installation un plateau médical ouvert aux arcachonnais, d’un espace de formation dédié aux métiers du secteur médico-social et l’aménagement de 10 logements pour personnes âgées en perte d’autonomie.

✂️ 𝗜𝗡𝗔𝗨𝗚𝗨𝗥𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 20 September 2024 marked the 𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘂𝗴𝘂𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 of the new Pyrénées Hospital building, housing the adult and children’s care units at the Orthez site. AFA+SANAE architecture had the pleasure of acting as Project Engineer on this operation, in a consortium with design offices Artelia and Gantha.
This new building groups together the medical and psychological care and day hospital facilities for adults and the equivalent facilities for children and teenagers, which were previously scattered across different parts of the town.

Surface area: 1,500 m²
Competitive bid submitted at the end of 2021
Start of works: early 2023
Handover: June 2024

Our team recently took part part in a novel and highly rewarding workshop to create a mural on the theme of construction. This was a great opportunity to deepen our understanding of our sector’s impacts on the environment - and what we can do to mitigate them.
